Original Expert Mode

Final result: Humanity 273 : Mines 11640

The first match between Humanity and The Mines finished with a devastating defeat for Humanity!

But careful inspection revealed that the Mines didn't play fair!

On each new game, the first click of Humanity had to be a guess. We had no clue where the mines were. But they always knew where we were!

The standard Expert mode board is 30x16 with 99 mines. That means 20.6% of the board are mines. In the little under 12k games played in this round Humanity lost on the first click 15.8%. We managed a bit better than chance, using our Humanity! But, we lost 53.8% of the games in the first 5 clicks. Mines rigged it.

That's why the next round is played with a fair start! The system automatically performs the first click on a cell with no neighbouring mines. Head over to the home page to play the next round!
